GB Presents Rs 106 billion Budget for FY22
Gilgit: The Gilgit Baltistan (GB) budget for fiscal year 2021-22 (FY22) was presented with a total expenditure of Rs 105.92 billion.
He stated that the budget expenditure is 54% greater than the budget from the previous year. He stated that the budget allocates more than Rs 48.45 million for the improvement of the health sector, Rs 4.62 billion for physical planning and housing, and Rs 3.96 billion for the works department.

The British finance minister also promised a 10 percent raise in government employee salaries and a minimum wage of Rs 20,000.
In addition to the department’s annual budget of Rs 601 million, the minister also revealed that Rs 4.1 billion have been provided for 97 new initiatives in the health department for the next fiscal year. The department’s regular budget has been increased by 67 percent. In addition, Rs 1.5 billion have been committed for health sector improvements.
5 billion rupees have been put up for the Chief Minister’s Special Interventions for Underdeveloped Areas.

In addition, the Works Department will receive Rs 1.2 billion, an increase of 111 percent, while the Power Department will receive Rs 1.3 billion, an increase of 138 percent, and the Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries Department will receive Rs 760 million, an increase of 104 percent.
