Germany to Increase Investment in Pakistan
Berlin: Germany declared its intention to enhance trade relations and promote investment in Pakistan’s various sectors. According to reports, at a joint news conference in Berlin, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi decided to deepen bilateral ties with a focus on boosting commerce and investments.

The German foreign minister hailed the Qureshi visit as a great chance to introduce fresh German programmes and initiatives in Pakistan.
35 German firms have shown interest in investing in Pakistan, and Maas expressed his happiness with this development and noted that this positive trend will assist to unlock enormous business potential.

Afterwards, Qureshi told the media that he discussed measures to prevent visa delays with his German colleague during their discussion.
Prior to that, the two foreign ministers organized delegation-level discussions on topics like commerce, energy, visa policy, and peace in Afghanistan.
