Germany to invest in GB’s Health, Power, Environment Sector
According to media sources, German Ambassador Bernhard Schlagheck declared that the German government will help enhance the education, power, and health sectors in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and mitigate the effects of climate change.

During a phone conversation with Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid Khan, the German envoy offered aid to enhance a variety of regional sectors. The efforts of the German government were praised by the chief minister. He added that the objective of Prime Minister Imran Khan is to promote development in the region and that the federal government has suggested a PKR 370 billion development plan for Great Britain.

In addition, according to the minister, the Gilgit administration has provided numerous chances in the mining, energy, and tourism sectors. Foreign financial institutions must contribute in minimising the effects of climate change, as stated by Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid.
He also noted that particular German collaboration is required for the construction of new power plants and the modernization of the power distribution system.
