PIA to Operate Skardu-Faisalabad Flight
According to media sources, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has stated that it will begin flying from Faisalabad to Skardu to increase domestic tourism in Gilgit. According to the published information, the airline will launch service on this route on July 7.

Historically, the national airline flew from Sialkot to Skardu. On July 3, flights will begin on this route. The airline has already initiated service to Skardu from Pakistani cities like Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.

Moreover, in an effort to promote tourism in the nation, PIA resumed Air Safari operations. Air Safari’s debut flight departed from Islamabad International Airport. On board were 91 visitors, including the Minister of Power Hammad Azhar and at least 13 foreign nationals.
Similarly, PIA has discounted cherry shipments from Skardu to Sialkot, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore by fifty percent. Instead of PKR 300 per kilogramme, the new prices are PKR 150 per kilogramme.
