Government Decides to Reverse Increasing Ratio of Property Tax
According to news sources, at the upcoming cabinet meeting in Lahore, the Punjab administration would drop its proposal to hike the property tax.

During the meeting, the provincial minister briefed the LCCI president on the pro-business measures the government will implement in the coming months.
In addition, the government may introduce the measure during the session of the Punjab Assembly beginning with the amendment of the Finance Bill 2021.

According to reports, three further amendment legislation pertaining to the Evacuee Property and Displaced Persons Laws, Punjab Wildlife Protection, and Punjab Board of Revenue would be introduced. Moreover, the Punjab Commission for Regularization of Irregular Housing Schemes Ordinance 2021 (amendment) will be tabled before the parliament.
