Government Set Target to Export 160,000 Tons of Mangoes
According to Abdul Ghaffar Grewal, the director of MRI-Mango Research Institute, a bountiful crop of mangoes, including Chaunsa, Sindhary, and Samar Bahasht this year in 2021, is anticipated.

Furthermore, Abdul Ghaffar stated in an interview with the APP that the federal government has set a goal to export around 160,000 tonnes of mangoes and make about $120 million from doing so.
In addition, he noted that the previous year’s export goal for fruits was 142,000 tonnes, with an estimated $90 million in revenue coming from these goods.
In addition, he claimed that the Ministry of National Food Security had set up a special committee with representatives from the Agriculture Department and other important agencies to conduct regular meetings that could help identify obstacles and also offer solutions to remove them from the way of mango exports.
