Government to Build 17 New Panaghas Across the Country
Islamabad: According to news reports, the federal government has agreed to launch the Ehsas Panagah project in 17 districts nationwide before August 14. Each Panagha is expected to cost the government PKR 40.60 million to operate, of which PKR 30.564 million would go towards operational and running expenses and PKR 10.03 million would go towards fixed capital expenses.

Also, the following information is provided regarding the specific districts in the provinces where Panaghas were identified for establishment:
The locations named are Lahore, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rawalpindi, and Bahawalpur in Punjab. Panaghas will be developed in Peshawar, Swart Kohat, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Panagahas will be developed in the Sindhi cities of Hyderabad, Gambit, and Kemari and Landhi.

Panaghas will be built in the District of Chaghi in Balochistan. The government in Northern Areas has chosen to construct Panagh in Gilgit, Gilgit-Baltistan.
In addition, the Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal will build 4 Express Panagahs in the Balochistan towns of Zhob, Kharan, Nushki, and Washuk where visitors and the homeless can eat; however, no overnight accommodation is yet planned. It is significant to remember that there are currently 17 Panaghas located in 17 districts throughout the nation.
