Government to Build Women and Children Hospital in Swabi
The first hospital for women and children in the district of Swabi will be constructed in the village of Kunda at an estimated cost of Rs 3.8 billion.
The relevant officials briefed chief minister’s adviser Abdul Karim and MPA Rangaiz Khan on this matter.
According to official sources, the hospital will be built on the site of the Rural Health Centre, Kunda, which will be relocated to a piece of the local government’s secondary school.
The hospital project site is 1.5 kilometers from the Bacha Khan Hospital Complex, Shahmansoor, and Gajju Khan Medical College.

Mr. Karim stated that the development of a 250-bed hospital would benefit the women and children of Swabi and the surrounding districts.
He projected that the project would cost Rs 3.8 billion, which the provincial government would cover. He estimated that the project would be completed in two years and six months.
