Government to Formulate 60 Day Plans to Boost The Economy
Peshawar: The federal government has asked all provinces to establish 30- to 60-day plans to strengthen their economic activity and increase exports.
According to reports, the federal government has promised to grant tax benefits to the poultry business, revive pink salt mines, slash fees for digital firms, and form a joint conference with Afghanistan to stimulate medical tourism, among other things, to raise exports.
The government aims to abolish import tariffs on feed for the poultry business and refund taxes on local production, bases, poultry, and chicken exports and consumption.
Furthermore, Kalabagh mines and pink salt mines in the neighboring area — closed for six months – will be made operational within a month.
The precious stones sector will be split from the jeweler industry, and more laboratories for testing and certification will be developed.

Moreover, a joint forum would be formed with Afghanistan to expedite visa issuance to boost medical tourism. In contrast, religious tourism will be fostered by raising the tax collection by imposing a minimum limit.
