Government Domestic Oil Refineries Climbing International Standards
The Ministry of Finance hosted a meeting to discuss the status of the Draft Pakistan Oil Refining Policy 2021. Mr. Shaukt Tarin, Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue, presided over the meeting.
During the discussion, the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Mr. Shaukat Tarin, stated that the Prime Minister is highly interested in sustainable growth in all areas of the economy. Indeed, the energy industry is essential to maintaining the economy’s ever-increasing pace.
The representatives of oil refineries stated that the oil refining business is “extremely satisfied” thanks to the government’s support and patronage.

They stated that the entire oil refinery industry is prepared to upgrade to international standards and that a comprehensive structure is in place. With the ratification of the new Oil Refining Policy, the process of achieving worldwide standards will begin.

The Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue instructed the participants to overcome all obstacles in the design of the new Oil Refining Policy 2021 in order for it to take effect as soon as possible.
