Governor House of Punjab Saves Rs13.6 Million
Following the Prime Minister’s austerity push, the Punjab governor house would only spend Rs 2 million in FY2020-21, despite having a budget of Rs 15.6 million. Thus, Governor of Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar was able to save Rs 13,6 million.

According to official estimates, the current PTI administration lowered Prime Minister (PM) House spending by 68 percent in September 2020 as part of its austerity efforts. After reducing PM House’s expenses by a record-breaking 68 percent, PM Khan achieved his pledge to implement austerity measures. And for the preceding two years.
The staff and other expenses of PM House were lowered from nearly 500 million rupees to 310 million rupees.
