Pakistan will officially begin mango exports from June 1, 2026, after the Ministry of Commerce approved a revised export schedule through a formal notification.

According to the ministry, exports of the 2026 mango crop will now only be allowed from June 1, while all other conditions under the existing export policy will remain unchanged.

The decision was made following requests from stakeholders, suggesting concerns related to crop maturity, fruit quality, or seasonal supply timing.

The updated schedule marks a slight delay compared to previous years, when mango exports usually started in late May. In the 2025 season, exports began on May 25.

Pakistan remains one of the world’s major mango exporters, supplying fruit to markets across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Popular Pakistani varieties such as Sindhri and Chaunsa continue to enjoy strong international demand.
