Govt Has Earned Rs. 26 Billion by Issuing 4.5 Million Passports
Due to the issuing of 4.5 million passports to date, the Passport and Immigration office has reported that it has deposited Rs. 26 billion in the national exchequer.

The Interior Ministry was commended for establishing Passport Processing Counter locations in remote areas of Pakistan, and Ishaq Dar, the federal minister of finance and revenue, offered his complete cooperation and assistance.
The meeting was informed on the Passports & Immigration office’s performance and evaluated the current organisation of passport offices in the nation and overseas.
Today’s meeting to discuss the opening of passport offices at the Finance Division was presided over by the minister. Rana Sanaullah, the interior minister, Tariq Mehmood Pasha, the special secretary for finance, the chairman of NADRA, the director general of passports and immigration, and other top executives from the finance, NADRA, and passport offices were present at the meeting.

In order to provide the greatest amount of convenience and service to the general public, the meeting also discussed the creation of Passports Processing Counters and Mobile Register Vehicles in cooperation with NADRA in the remaining districts of Pakistan.
Ishaq Dar, the minister of finance, highlighted that despite scarce resources and financial difficulties, the government is giving the populace the most amenities possible in every field. Further appreciating the Interior Ministry’s efforts to create Passport Processing Counter centres in remote parts of Pakistan, the Finance Minister offered his complete cooperation and support.
