UAE Announces Major Decision for Public Schools
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president, prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, and ruler of Dubai, has announced the outsourcing of 28 public schools to the private sector.

The choice was made after the UAE Cabinet approved a new management structure for Al Ajyal Schools. He stated on Twitter that the objective is to impart knowledge and provide parents more choices.
The New Operational Model: What is It?
The model is a synthesis of US and UAE curricula. The Arabic language, Islamic studies, moral instruction, and social studies are under the direction of Emirates School Establishment (ESE). Meanwhile, math, science, and other disciplines are covered in the American curriculum.

Ten schools used the operational model last year. According to Sarah Al Amiri, the minister of state for public education and advanced technology, 8 more schools will use this model this academic year, increasing the total to 18.
