The federal government has again disclosed a drop in fuel prices across Pakistan. This marks the 5th consecutive petrol price reduction, driven by a downfall in global oil rates.

Starting from October 1, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs. 2.07 per liter, getting it down to Rs. 247.03. Additionally, high-speed diesel costs have seen a cut of Rs. 3.40 per liter, lowering it to Rs. 246.29.
Kerosene oil prices have also decreased by Rs. 3.57 per liter, now costing Rs. 154.9, while light diesel oil prices have been reduced by Rs. 1.03 per liter, making the new price Rs. 140.9.
In the earlier fuel price review on September 15, the government had already reduced petrol prices by Rs. 10 per liter and diesel by Rs. 13.06 per liter, offering some ease to consumers.
