Green Youth Movement Launched by Govt for Better Environment
Asad Umar, the Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Reforms, and Special Initiatives, reportedly launched the Green Youth Movement on March 17 in Islamabad to promote environmental protection.

Minister Asad Umar inaugurated the Green Youth Movement at the Convention Centre in Islamabad as part of the Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan initiative. The ceremony was also attended by the Special Adviser to the Prime Minister (SAPM) for Youth Affairs, Usman Dar, the Minister of State for Climate Change, Zartaj Gul, the Chairperson of the Higher Education Commission, Shaista Sohail, other education stakeholders and students.

In addition, the minister added that the Green Youth Movement would assist national youth in refining their abilities, constructing their capacity, and utilizing their talents for the improvement and prosperity of the nation.
According to the SAPM on Youth Affairs Dar, the Kamyab Jawan Program is crucial in the creation of employment and entrepreneurial prospects. He continued by stating that, as part of the effort, Pakistani youth will go to other countries to promote the country and learn new methods for combating climate change.
