Gulab Devi Underpass to Be Inaugurated by CM
On December 25, Mr. Sardar Usman Buzdar, Chief Minister of Punjab, is due to open the Gulab Devi Underpass project in Lahore. The governing body decided to call the underpass “Abdul Sattar Edhi Underpass” in honor of a prominent Pakistani humanitarian.

According to published reports, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) have agreed on December 25 for the opening of the underpass. The necessary preparations for this inauguration have been made. The labor involved in laying asphalt layers for the under process.

The aluminum design for the underpass’s beautification is nearing completion, and the electrical work should be finished soon. According to Project Concept-1 (PC-1), the underpass was to be completed in February 2022; however, CM Buzdar requested that LDA complete the project by December. A day before to December 25, the LDA will perform line marking by putting up lights.
