Hakla-D.I. Khan Motorway to Be Finalized by August 2021

Captain (retired) Muhammad Khurram Agha, Chairman of the National Highway Authority, made the statement while speaking at an E-Kachehri event hosted at the Authority’s headquarters, according to the page’s official Facebook account.
He stated that land acquisition work for the Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway is ongoing and that preparations are being made for an early start to the project’s construction. He stated that the project’s approval is anticipated soon and that work would begin in three to four months.

According to Agha, who responded to queries from the public, the upgrading and duplication of the Balkasar-Mianwali-Muzaffargarh route will be done through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP). The NHA has plans to reduce Abbottabad’s traffic congestion.
The consultant is working on the Shahdara Flyover design near Lahore. Also, this project will be carried out using the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) approach. He stated that the money for road upkeep and repairs would be made available in a week.
