Japanese Inaugurates Information Board at Shah Allah Ditta Caves
Kuninori Matsuda, the Japanese ambassador to Pakistan, paid a visit to the famed Shah Allah Ditta caverns and unveiled an information board there. The former Islamabad deputy mayor Syed Zeeshan Naqvi invited the Japanese ambassador to visit the historical location in Margalla Hills, Islamabad. The site’s administrators briefed him.

The ambassador reportedly also announced that the embassy would continue to fund the building of a road leading to the location, according to a press statement issued by the former deputy mayor.
He noted that Alexander the Great visited this lovely location over 2000 years ago and added that Buddhist culture is prevalent all over this area, which brings us close.
The shrine of Hazrat Shah Allah Ditta, a saint from the Mughal era, is situated near to the 2,500-year-old Buddhist caves and rock shelters. Humans originally began using the caverns during the Stone Age.

According to Mr. Naqvi, the road leading to the caves needs to be expanded and repaired because it is in poor condition. The government could simply boost religious tourism in the nation’s capital by creating a suitable venue and protecting the caves, he continued.
