HBL Determined to Deploy all POS Terminals at NADRA Nationwide
National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has awarded HBL the proclamation for the deployment of Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals to accept credit and debit cards at all NADRA Centers nationwide.

Government of Pakistan (GOP) and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) advised the installation of POS terminals at all NADRA Centers on. NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik and HBL President and CEO Muhammad Aurangzeb inked an agreement in this regard. On this occasion, senior officials from Organizations were also present.
The chairman of NADRA stated on this occasion that installing POS terminals will facilitate debit and credit card payments. This new installation would facilitate various digital payment transactions for citizens. This would also provide them with a simple and safe method of payment as we transition to a digital Pakistan.

In addition, he stated that the implementation of POS Terminals improves accounting efficiency and precision. This new endeavor would enable Nadra Centers accept additional currencies, as applicants are frequently Pakistanis living abroad with international bank accounts and credit cards.
Through this partnership, HBL will deploy its POS terminals at all NADRA Centers nationally. This effort focuses on enhancing Pakistan’s digital infrastructure. HBL will contribute to NADRA’s efforts to fully digitalize its identifying systems. It will enable different payment alternatives for NADRA applicants by providing them with ease and comfort of service.
