According to recent reports, there are huge lines at gas stations in a number of cities, including Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Khushab, Gojra, and Chillas.
According to reports, some gas stations only give motorbike and automobile owners Rs. 200 and Rs. 500 worth of fuel, respectively, while other outlets say they are out of fuel entirely.

The owners of gas stations assert that the supply has been constrained by petroleum product dealers. As a result of decreasing foreign exchange reserves, banks have stopped providing financing and facilitating payments for imports.
Musadik Malik, the state’s minister of petroleum, has warned gas station owners not to frighten the people and disregarded the possibility of an instant hike in gasoline prices. Before February 15, he said, “There is no likelihood of a fuel price increase.”
