The Mate 70 Pro+ and Mate 70 RS are the flagship models in Huawei’s Mate 70 series, and they are both intended to provide improved performance, durability, and design. These models are exceptional choices for consumers looking for high-end handsets, at least in China, as they improve upon the Mate 70 Pro with better materials, bigger batteries, and more RAM.

With dual-layer OLED technology and Basalt tempered Kunlun Glass for extra screen protection, the Mate 70 RS goes above and beyond durability.

The 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz is the same in both variants. However, the Mate 70 RS’s maximum brightness of 3,500 nits is superior to the Pro+’s 2,500 nits.

Gold threads and brocade fiber, a textured material that provides impact resistance and a distinctive light-reflective appearance, are used to create the sturdy rear panel of the Mate 70 Pro+. Because of its high-brightness titanium alloy construction, the frame is incredibly strong and resistant to drops and scratches. It provides excellent protection and is completely capable of withstanding dust and water thanks to its IP69 rating.

While the Mate 70 RS is available in Red, White, and Black, the Mate 70 Pro+ is available in Ink Black, Feather White, Gold, Silver Brocade, and Flying Blue.

Huawei’s Kirin 9020 chipset, which lags behind the current generation of competing flagship chips, is probably present in the two flagships. These smartphones will offer a smooth user experience and flawless multitasking because of their outstanding 16 GB of RAM. The most recent HarmonyOS 4.3, which offers a number of improvements to maximize use, will power them.

A sophisticated triple rear camera system is present on both devices. A 50MP sensor with a variable aperture of f/1.4 to f/4.0 is part of the main camera, offering great control in a range of lighting situations. While a 48MP telephoto lens provides 4x optical zoom for far-off subjects, a 40MP ultrawide lens captures expansive scenes.

A massive 5,700mAh battery powers the Mate 70 Pro+ and Mate 70 RS, guaranteeing outstanding performance throughout the day. These models have a powerful 100W wired charging option for fast charging, enabling customers to swiftly charge their devices. They also have a cutting-edge 80W wireless charging system.

In China, the 16/512 GB edition of the Mate 70 Pro+ costs €1,120, while the 16 GB/1 TB model costs €1,250. The 16/512 GB model of the Mate 70 RS costs €1,580, while the 16 GB/1 TB model costs €1,710.
