Islamabad: According to a news story published on November 30, the representatives of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) met with the delegation of the Motor and Importer Dealers Association and requested that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) create an Auto City.
The facts state that Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, President of ICCI, emphasized the importance of auto dealerships in creating jobs and promoting commercial activity. He continued by saying that establishing Auto City will aid in resolving parking conflicts in marketplaces and encourage the efficient operation of the industry’s commercial operations. In order to help the Association address the issues that auto dealers are facing, ICCI pledged its cooperation.

The group, which included prominent individuals such as Muhammad Waseem Abbasi, President Sardar Irfan of the Islamabad Region, President Raja Amir Karim of the Rawalpindi Region, General Secretary Azhar Akhlaq Abbasi of the Islamabad Region, and other officials, emphasized the difficulties faced by their industry.
Haji Tariq, president of the Motor and Importer Dealers Association, emphasized the vital role that auto dealers play in the growth of businesses and the creation of jobs. In order to develop a sustainable solution for car showrooms, President Haji Tariq encouraged the CDA to follow the orders of the Islamabad High Court and examine successful models from significant international cities including London, Malaysia, and Singapore.
