Indonesia Envoy Stresses More Bilateral with Pakistan
Adam Mulawarman Tugio, the Indonesian ambassador to Pakistan, has urged Sialkot exporters to investigate his country’s worldwide trade markets in order to enhance bilateral trade between Indonesia and Pakistan.

At a meeting of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), he advised Pakistani businesspeople to improve their exports by focusing more on the markets of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
He pledged to make every effort to increase bilateral trade between his country and Pakistan. He stated that the two nations enjoyed amicable trade and shared many cultural values. He also emphasized the importance of interpersonal relations between the two nations.

According to him, the overall trade volume between the two nations in 2019-20 was $2.5 billion, with the trade balance heavily favoring Indonesia. He stated that Sialkot could export sports goods, surgical instruments, leather products and gloves of all types, textiles, sportswear, martial arts uniforms and accessories, musical instruments, kitchenware and tableware, hollowware, hunting knives, table cutlery/flatware, and military uniform badges to Indonesian markets.
Earlier, the ambassador visited Sialkot’s leading industrial facilities. He was curious about the manufacturing process of sporting items and surgical devices.
