Information Desk Setup on Murree Expressway to Facilitate Tourists
Islamabad: The National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) has established an information and facilitation desk at the Phalgran toll plaza on the Murree Expressway (N-75) in an effort to enhance the general travelling experience.

An official from the National Highway and Motorway Police told APP on Monday that the desk was manned by policemen who would be available to provide travellers travelling through the region with information and directions.
The officers, according to him, would also be in charge of ensuring a steady flow of traffic on the Murree Expressway. He stated that the police department’s objective is to make travellers’ journeys comfortable by giving them accurate and up-to-date information about the state of the roads, the weather, and other crucial facts.

According to a National Highway official, the officers will also be on hand to assist in an emergency and to respond to any inquiries visitors may have about the region.
In addition to cautioning them against making unnecessary trips to Murree, he advised them to check the condition of their vehicles and pack essentials like tyre chains and tow chains. According to him, drivers should maintain a greater gap between vehicles during inclement weather and heed the advice of the on-duty police officers.
