Information Ministry Introduced Digital Media Advertising Policy
Shibli Faraz, the federal minister for information and broadcasting, Dr. Arslan Khalid, the PM’s digital media point person, and Imran Ghazali, the head of the digital media wing, had earlier met with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The PM was informed that Pakistan currently has 93 million internet users and more than 45 million users of social media, and that number is steadily rising. The mechanism for the publication of public sector advertisements on digital media has been proposed in light of the growing trend.
The Federal Government’s Digital Media Advertisement does not currently have a mechanism in place.
The digital media sector in Pakistan is expanding quickly, and this policy will help the country’s economy overall by enabling new digital platforms and content producers. The corporate sector will be inspired to use digital media as a form of advertising once it is recognised.
The PM was informed by Dr. Arslan Khalid about the DMDP (Digital Media Development Program) of the PM.
In order to move toward a more promising future in the digital media ecosystem, DMDP aims to close the gap between students, the Pakistani government, and the digital media industry.
