Initiation of IT Park Held in Islamabad
Islamabad: According to news sources, the Republic of Korea Ambassador Suh Sangpyo and Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications Syed Amin ul Haque officially opened the Islamabad Technology Park.

According to Syed Amin ul Haque, the IT Park is anticipated to be finished in 30 months and is a significant step in realizing Prime Minister Imran Khan’s goal for a Digital Pakistan.
Suh Sangpyo, who spoke at the occasion, stated that the creation of IT Parks is one of the key initiatives covered by the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF), a 2019 agreement between Pakistan and Korea. Korea will provide $500 million to this effort to help build the nation’s infrastructure.

The ambassador added that the opening of Islamabad’s IT Park will support the development of a business-friendly environment for small and medium-sized IT firms. Pakistan’s IT capabilities may be enhanced with assistance from Korea through the development of its infrastructure, human resources, and technological capabilities.
