Islamabad Expressway, PWD Underpass to Be Accomplished by June
Islamabad: According to a recently published news story, Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed claimed that the building work on the Islamabad Expressway and PWD Underpass is moving smoothly and is likely to be finished by the end of June.

The authority is pushing to complete and expand the entire Islamabad Expressway from the Korang Nullah Bridge up to T-chowk on GT Road, he continued. Furthermore, the authority aims to extend the two-lane stretch from Korang Nullah to GT Road into a five-lane motorway.
Before June, when the PWD Underpass is anticipated to be finished and the Korang Nullah Bridge will be halfway finished, Mr. Ahmed stated that the tenders for this extension project would be issued.

In the meantime, he said that CDA has plans to improve IJP (Inter Junction Provincial) Road in order to meet city commuters’ problems.
