Islamabad to Have Six Parking Plazas by June 2023
By June of this year, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) hopes to have six parking lots finished. In several of Islamabad’s main commercial districts, the administration aims to offer parking facilities for visitors.
Each parking plaza will contain a little commercial center, food courts, and a cinema to entice customers. Each parking plaza would have 5 to 8 storeys to accommodate the most parking spaces possible. Parking plaza rooftops will be set up for gardening in an effort to improve the environment.
According to official statistics, approximately 7,000,000 vehicles travel on roads across Pakistan each day.
Parking challenges have arisen due to the increase in vehicles, especially in commercial locations. As consumers spend more money on automobiles and bikes for convenience, this number is sure to increase. The government is therefore making efforts to address parking concerns.

The officials said that we sincerely want to address Islamabad’s growing parking issues and are completely aware of the problem. The issues facing the citizens and businesspeople of the capital city must have a long-term solution. All attempts are being made to make Islamabad a model for the rest of the country’s cities. There are ongoing initiatives underway to create parking spaces in markets and commercial areas.
