Italian Artist Sales an Invisible Sculpture for US $18,300
An Italian artist, Salvatore Garau, recently sold an invisible artwork for an extravagant price of $18,000, or about Rs 2.7 million. According to the sources, the anonymous customer pays this exorbitant fee for the invisible sculpture.

During the preceding month of May, the Italian auction company Art-Rite held a sale of the “immaterial” statue with an expected starting price of between $7,000 and $11,000. However, the goods’ final selling price of US$18,300 was greater than the planned price because of the hoopla surrounding them.

In the past month, Salvatore Garau sold an invisible sculpture titled “Io Sono” (meaning “I am”) to an unidentified buyer. He was also provided a certificate of authenticity to indicate that this invisible sculpture is genuine.
