Japan to Offer 70 Training Courses to Pakistanis
Islamabad: The Japanese government has planned to provide Pakistani nationals with seventy in-country or online training programs annually.

Social demands such as education, health, water resources, environment, and human development, as well as industrial necessities such as agriculture, energy, transportation, and ICT, are broadly addressed by the initiatives. Governance, catastrophe risk mitigation, and gender considerations are also included.
According to a news release issued by the Japanese embassy on Wednesday, the aim of each course determines the number of participants, their conditions, and their terms.
Since 1957, when the programs for Pakistan were first introduced, roughly 6,000 Pakistanis have participated in them.

Due to the ban on international travel caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, JICA is adopting alternate techniques such as internet communications to ensure that no training opportunities are wasted.
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) implements the programmes with the help of Japanese ministries, municipalities, universities, and relevant organizations.
