Kamyab Pakistan Program to Bring 3 Million Families from Poverty
Shaukat Tarin, the federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, recently met in the Finance Division with Dr. Sania Nishtar, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation.

The SAPM commended the Kamyab Pakistan Program (KPP) for providing relief to needy segments of society through enhanced chances for financial empowerment, and vowed its full support and facilitation on this occasion.
According to Minister Tarin, the KPP is predicated on the concept of a “bottom-up” approach, as envisioned by the Prime Minister. Beneficiaries would have easy access to interest-free and collateral-free agricultural and business financing.
The KPP will also offer a low-cost housing program for low-income individuals, enabling them to acquire homes. As a result, it will promote financial inclusion.

During the discussion, Minister Tarin informed the SAPM that prospective beneficiaries will only be accessible through the Ehsaas NSER database in the interest of openness.
