According to Tariq Haleem, reorganising port fees could be used most effectively to transform Karachi Port into a cutting-edge transshipping hub. These fees include cargo management during free days and proper deployment of the South Asia Pacific Terminal (SAPTL), which has a detailed sketch of 16 metres beside the dock with the possibility for up to 20 metres.
