KDA Town Residents Demand Renovation of Park
Kohat: Residents of the affluent KDA Township have sought the removal of overgrown vegetation and the restoration of swings, sheds, and chairs in the Phase-I park so that families can use the facility.

Noor Islam, the head of the local residents’ organisation, told the concerned officials that house owners had spent their hard-earned money to create a tension-free and peaceful atmosphere in the town, but there were no recreational facilities for families and children.
According to him, the unrestrained growth of grass and other vegetation in the vacant lots created a safe haven for wild boars and other venomous reptiles, posing a threat to the lives of locals.

Fazal Kareem, a representative of the KDA, was approached by relevant officials and informed them that, because to the lockdown, parks are not currently a priority and that emphasis is being focused on plantation efforts.
MPA Ziaullah Bangash, head of the district development advisory committee, met on Tuesday to review allocations for the repair of roads, lamps, and parks, in response to a question that the park had been in poor shape for several years.
