KMC Forms a Committee to Manage The Affairs of Graveyards
Karachi: According to news reports, the Karachi Metropolitan Municipality (KMC) has established a committee tasked with keeping an eye on cemeteries’ operations.

According to reports, the committee, which has eight members, would also make recommendations, offer Karachi Administrator a monthly report, and emphasize the necessity for any subcommittees.
The committee, which will be made up of representatives of welfare organizations and KMC officials, will keep an eye on all of the city’s cemeteries.

Furthermore, it will be responsible for providing required help to the relatives of those who have died, keeping a record of all burials around the city, and ensuring that the graveyards are used for the intended purpose.
The eight-person committee will be made up of senior-level professionals with experience, such as the Senior Director of KMC Media Management, the Cemetery Director, the Cemetery Deputy Director, and members of welfare organizations like JDC Welfare Organization, Al-Khidmat Welfare Society, and Alamgir Welfare Trust.
