Repairing, and Decoration of Faisal Masjid is Being Initiated
According to a special directive from the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), the construction, repair and decoration work of Faisal Masjid is underway. The President ordered all of this work to be completed before Eid.

According to details, construction, repair and decoration work at Faisal Masjid is being started in accordance with special instructions issued by the CDA President. Tenders have been launched on the matter and work will begin next week. The 35 skylights installed at Faisal Masjid have been inactive for a long time. These lights will be replaced.
Coloring work will also be done at Masjid. The ADC maintenance department has already planned this out. The work will be completed before Eid-ul-Fitr. The decoration of Faisal Masjid will increase its beauty and attract more visitors. The aim of this special initiative is to preserve the Faisal Mosque as an asset of the country and a symbol of modern architecture. Therefore, special attention will be paid to its maintenance. Guidelines have been issued to polish croissants, conduct whitewash, remove surrounding bushes and improve safety features in parking areas.
