KP calls KCCI’s Industrialists to Invest in Economic Zones
According to news reports, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Industries Abdullah Karim Tordher invited a Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) delegation led by President Mohammad Idrees to invest in provincial Special Economic Zones (SEZs).

Minister Tordhar informed the audience that the KP government is working to construct thirteen Economic Zones within the province over the next few months.
In addition, the KP minister stated that the province’s business climate is conducive to investment and that 17 different types of taxes have been eliminated to facilitate business.

In addition, the minister briefed the delegation on the 400 million dollar road infrastructure and connectivity projects for the promotion of the tourism industry and the movement of goods.
The minister urged the business community of Karachi to invest in gems, gypsum, mines and minerals, hunting arms, cold water fishing, hydropower, fruits and vegetables, organic fruits, and the tea industry.
