KP CM Approves Master Plan of New Balakot City
According to news reports, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has approved in principle to the master plan suggested for the completion of New Balakot City.

According to the project’s data, the PKR 15 billion New Balakot City Projects are being constructed approximately 1.6 kilometres from the Hazara Motorway, close to the Bakriyal hamlet in the Mansehra District. Two components of the project have been finished as of this point.
According to the master plan, the size of New Balakot City would be 8,440 kanals. The total number of residential plots to be created is 6753, with 4273 designated for earthquake victims and 700 reserved for residents of Bakriyal.
Additionally, 575 commercial plots will be built. In addition, it was reported that 90 percent of the funds had already been transferred to the landowners.
During the discussion, the PM emphasised the importance of addressing the concerns of earthquake victims and regaining their trust. He also discussed the project’s development.
It was decided that a committee led by Commissioner Hazara will be formed to generate realistic proposals. The idea will be given to Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan for approval after it has been finished.

In addition, CM requested that the committee describe the roles and responsibilities of the various entities engaged in the implementation of the project. He underlined that the province government is diligently trying to honour its responsibilities to earthquake sufferers.
