KP Government Recovers Rs60bn Land from Encroachers
With the assistance of the competent authorities, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Revenue has reclaimed nearly Rs 60 billion worth of government land from encroachers in 30 districts of the province.

The documents accessible to the relevant authority place the district of Hangu at the top of the list with 1143 kanals of reclaimed land valued at 238 million rupees.
The board and competent authorities retrieved 668 kanals of land with a staggering market value of Rs39 billion in the provincial capital.

Mr. Shah noted that two of these tehsils were located in Kurram, one each in Bajaur and Khyber, and the remaining ones in the formerly frontier territories.
In addition, he stated that his department had established 26 service delivery sites throughout the province, where fard and property transfer facilities are conveniently accessible.
The SMBR noted that these centers would be constructed throughout the province at the tehsil level.
