KP Government Utilizes 35 Percent of ADP Funds
Peshawar: During the first nine months of the current fiscal year, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government was only able to spend 35% of the ADP funds (9MFY21).
According to documents, the provincial administration set aside Rs 148.571 billion for the province, of which it has already spent Rs 57.765 billion.

Similar to this, the government allocated Rs 34.286 billion for tribal districts in the current financial year’s development programme, but only Rs 9.797 billion was actually spent. Similarly, Rs 49 billion was allocated under the Tribal Decade Strategy’s (TDS) Accelerated Implementation Program (AIP), but the government only spent Rs 14.418 billion.
According to the Department of Planning and Development’s third quarter report, Rs. 10.90 billion was spent on building roads, Rs. 22 million on science and information technology (IT), Rs. 0.1 million on rehabilitation and resettlement, and so on.

Similarly, under the AIP of the Tribal Decade Strategy, nothing has been spent on food, research and Technology, transportation, urban development, justice and law, mining, rehabilitation, or relocation (TDS).
