PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched a new e-Fard Portal to make land record services easier to access and reduce the need for repeated visits to revenue offices.
Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi launched the portal along with a Digital Public Feedback System. The initiatives are part of the provincial government’s wider effort to digitize revenue services and improve transparency.

Citizens can access the e-Fard service through NADRA e-Sahulat Centers, the official online portal and the Dastak App. The system allows eligible users to obtain a digital copy of their Fard without relying entirely on physical visits to government offices.
Biometric verification through NADRA is required before an e-Fard can be downloaded. Applicants can pay the prescribed fee electronically through 1LINK and Easypaisa.
Once issued, the Fard remains available in the user’s digital account and can be downloaded when needed. Each document will also carry a QR code that allows its authenticity to be checked against the central land record system.
The new service is intended to make land documentation more convenient while improving the traceability of records. Digital verification may also help users confirm whether a document matches the information maintained in the official land record.
The provincial government has also introduced a Digital Public Feedback System for revenue services. Under the system, selected citizens will receive random telephone calls after using government services and will be asked to share their experience.

Feedback will be recorded and categorized according to satisfaction levels. Complaints from dissatisfied users will be displayed on the relevant deputy commissioner’s dashboard for follow-up.
The feedback data will also be considered in district-level performance reviews. Officials will use the information to identify service delays, recurring complaints and areas requiring improvement.
The new digital measures are aimed at improving access to land records while strengthening monitoring of revenue services. Their effectiveness will depend on system availability, accurate digital records and timely response to citizen complaints.
