KP to Establish STZs in Swat, Mardan, Haripur, Peshawar
Peshawar: According to news reports, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan has approved the creation of four Special Technology Zones (STZs) in the province. The STZs will be built in Peshawar, Swat, Mardan, and Haripur districts.
According to the specifics, the chief minister and Special Technology Zone Authority (STZA) Chairman Amir Hashmi, met to go through the specifics of the plan.
According to the information provided, a joint working group made up of the relevant provincial government and STZA officials would be formed to carry out this strategic plan. In order to improve access to information, the internet, and the knowledge economy, it was also decided that the provincial government and STZA would work together in other IT fields as well.

Additionally, CM Mehmood stated that the province’s promotion of IT will boost jobs and sustain growth while considering the needs of the young and the future.
Additionally, he noted that the government is implementing measures to enhance investor facilitation and ease of doing business through one-window operations and digital platforms like the CM Business website.
