Lahore Commissioner Action Against Illegal Housing Societies
The municipal government of Lahore has been asked to identify and take action against the owners of unlawful housing plans in the Lahore Division, according to press reports from the 20th of December. Captain Lahore (R) Muhammad Usman Youngish has instructed an inspection team to identify the proprietors of sixty illegal housing societies.

The administration recognized 60 housing projects in various metropolitan regions and subdistricts following a comprehensive analysis of the rapid expansion of unlawful housing developments. On Ferozepur Road, Canal Road, Kamahi Road, Bedpan Road, and Beki Road, the majority of the mentioned housing developments are confirmed.

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) discovered 34 illegal house proposals on Ferozepur Road, 11 on Burke Road, 11 on Bedpan Road, 2 on Kamahi Road, and 2 on Canal Road in a letter to the Commissioner. As a major remedy against these unauthorized housing plans, the authorities will demolish illegal structures, including supply structures constructed on the property.
