Lahore Digital Map Set to Complete by Next Month
Lahore: The National Coordination Committee (NCC) for Housing, Construction, and Development indicated in a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan that a digital map of Lahore will be completed by October 15, according to news outlets.

Prime Minister Imran Khan asked the committee to expedite the digitization of Lahore’s cadastral mapping so that it can be completed as quickly as feasible.
The prime minister emphasized that digitizing land will minimize land grabbing and encroachment on land while also assisting the public. In the initial phase of the program, the federal government initiated a digital mapping project of the country’s major metropolitan areas, and a recent ceremony marked the inauguration of Islamabad Castradal.

According to him, the objective of the initiative is to digitize all key city residential and state land. During the opening ceremony, the premier stated that the project will increase the property’s production of Internal Revenue.
Similarly, the premier was updated on the numerous housing projects that the Ministry of Housing and Works is currently completing. The ministry is reportedly constructing 86,323 housing units at a cost of PKR 463 billion.
