Land Achievement Process Initiated for Road Projects in Gujarat
According to a news source, the Land Revenue Department (LRD) has begun the process of acquiring land in order to build a flyover over a railroad track at Service Mor along the old GT route and a six-kilometer industrial link road.

The job of acquiring land for infrastructure in Gujarat has been given to Gujarat Assistant Commissioner Salman Zafar Dhothar.
In total, PKR 154 million has been set aside for the purchase of the necessary land, of which the government has already released about PKR 100 million. The flyover will begin at Swedish College and travel along the former GT route in accordance with the approved plan. The industrial link road will be built from the GT Road bypass, which is where the flyover will stop after crossing over the railroad tracks.
The aforementioned projects were put forth by senior administrative official Chaudhry Moonis Elahi in an effort to increase the city’s boundaries and ease traffic congestion near the Saen Raja shrine on old GT road, the city’s primary entrance and exit.

According to government estimates, PKR 717 million would be used to build the flyover, while PKR 1 billion will be set aside to build the industrial link road.
