Land Acquisition of LDA City’s Jinnah Sector 80% Complete
Ahmed Aziz Tarar, Director General (DG) of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), visited the authority’s flagship housing project ‘LDA City’ in Lahore and evaluated development activities and land acquisition concerns, according to news media. During his visit, Mr. Ahmad Aziz stated that more than 80 percent of the land for LDA City Jinnah Sector has been secured.

Additionally, the director general disclosed that LDA is in contact with landowners to buy additional property for LDA City.
In addition, he urged the authorities and other departments to utilize all available resources to expedite the completion of the scheme’s development operations, including the installation of green belts. In addition, he stated that the provision of electricity, gas, and other utility services should be finished within two months.

Moreover, he instructed the authorities to execute the remaining land acquisition operations as soon as possible. Two months should be required for the installation of power, gas, and other utility services.
Mr. Tarrar stated at the time that all LDA City file holders will be given ownership of the plots by the end of the following year. Chief Engineer LDA Mazhar Hussain Khan provided an update on the project’s continuing development activities on this occasion.
