LDA, Allied Bank Sign Agreement to Allow Online Payment of Dues
Lahore: According to a news source, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and Allied Bank Limited (ABL) have signed a contract to enable online payments for LDA dues via 1-Link and mobile applications.
M Akhtar, the LDA Director of Finance, signed the contract on behalf of his company. On occasion, LDA Director General (DG) Ahmed Aziz Tarar was also there.
Users of the new service will be able to pay LDA fees using 1-Link ATMs or the mobile applications of their banks.
According to the news source, “The demand notices for collection of LDA dues will be generated by computer and the concerned applicant will be informed about the amount and the due date via SMS.”
Additionally, applicants will be able to pay their fees at any Allied Bank Limited branch. They will receive receipts for their payments in exchange. The LDA’s official website offers challan forms for download by interested parties.
