LDA City’s Revised Plan for Iqbal Sector Approved
At its 5th Annual Governing Body meeting, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) accepted the updated plan for the LDA City Iqbal sector, according to news reports.
Vice Chairman (VC) S M Imran presided over the meeting, and the governing body approved the updated plan for the 16,000-kanal project. Ahmad Aziz Tarar, director general of the Lahore Development Authority, updated members on the Lahore Master Plan 2050.

During the proceedings, the following meeting agendas were also discussed and approved:
- The transfer of plots 36 through 39 of the Jubilee Town Civic Centre to the Women Development Department.
- Approval of the updated PC-1 for Johar Town’s Arena Walk & Shop Park
- The conclusion of the formal work documentation associated with the agreement between Chinoot Housing Society and LDA Avenue. 1 Rapid allocation of plots to those impacted by LDA Avenue 1 Commencement of the Tajpura water tank construction
- The transfer of waste treatment plants from Mahmood Booti and Shahdara to Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA)
- Exemption of Hijaz Hospital’s land conversion charge in Gulberg
The aforementioned meeting was attended by all high-ranking municipal authorities.
