LDA Recovers 34 Kanal Land from Mansha Bamm
In a Tuesday night operation, an LDA team in Lahore took 34 kanals of land from Mansha Khokhar, also known as Mansha Bamm.
When the team lead by LDA town planning authorities and police arrived at PIA Road near Johar Town’s D/2 block, they began a significant operation to destroy the unlawful building at the state land that the men of Mansha Bamm were reportedly occupying. The squad cleared the area of all occupants and destroyed all buildings.

The LDA team also filed a lawsuit for unauthorised habitation of the 34 kanal state land against Bamm, his sons, and 25 other individuals.
In October 2018, the LDA and municipal administration teams collaborated to launch a significant operation against Mansha Bamm, recovering state land on PIA Road that was worth millions of dollars. Later, as part of the “Clean & Green Pakistan Campaign,” the LDA planted seedlings on the property that had been taken back from Bamm.
There was also a camp office set up by the authority. Along with the LDA, staff members from the Water and Sanitation Agency and the Lahore Waste Management Company had also been stationed at the office to take complaints from the public about cleanliness and sanitation and address them.
However, the land speculators constructed buildings on a portion of the property, prompting the LDA to restart the operation.
