LDA to Construct 3-Lane Flyover on Bhekewal Mor
According to news reports, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) intends to construct a three-lane flyover on Bhekewal Mor to reduce traffic congestion on the road connecting Khayaban-e-Jamia Punjab and Main Boulevard Allama Iqbal Town.

The completion of the project is anticipated to cost PKR 1.9 billion, and it will assist 200,000 motorists daily.
The LDA’s preliminary plans call for the construction of a Bhekewal Mor flyover from Sheikh Zayed Hospital to Allama Iqbal Town Boulevard, as well as new U-turns on the main boulevard and the road leading to Sheikh Zayed Hospital.

Moreover, the LDA has begun reconstructing Khayaban-e-Firdousi Road. The planned plan calls for the rehabilitation of roads going to and from Allah-Hoo Chowk in Johar Town, in addition to the construction of new U-turns and traffic signals on Khayaban-e-Firdousi.
The development authority has already given Messrs Concept Engineering the project contract of PKR 90,6 million, and the project will be completed in two months.
